About Timba Modular Shelving

The most adaptable, versatile and mobile Shelving system on the market. Perfect for the DIY enthusiast. Complexity free with a multitude of assembly and design options. As with any shelving system, the components consist of 16 mm or 22 mm Slatted SA Pine shelves, bolted (with furniture screws) to either a 56 mm wide or 94 mm wide upright.

Due to popular demand, Helderberg Shelving has diversified into adapting a variety of finishes, namely:

  • Plain Finish

  • Varnished Finish

  • Stain & Varnish   

  • Full range of colour options

  • Up to 15 wood stain options (with or without Varnish)

Our adaptable Shelving evolved into including:

  • Doors of any size (depending on size of shelf)

  • Side and Backing Panels

       ( Hardboard or plywood - 4 mm to 6 mm )​

  • Side, Square or Round Dowel Bracing

       (Perfect for filing system or bookshelf to ensure files do not topple)​

  • Drawer Sizes 

    • Width 900 mm​ ( Double drawer can be used as long as it fits within 900 mm)

    • Depth 400 mm, 500 mm, 600 mm

  • Shelves can be converted in Cabinets with the addition of 18 mm Supawood / PinePly doors which include hinges, knobs and locks. As with drawer units, Cabinet doors can be fitted side by side as long as they fit within a 900 mm upright spacing.

Adaptions made apart from the Standard / Basic Shelving options will be billed at an additional cost, as well with varnishing and staining options.
